I'm 43 and just started riding this year. I never knew how great it could be. My boyfriend teaches motorcycles safety course so I signed up and told him I'd get my license but that I was still going to be a passenger more than ride myself. Well, that was BEFORE I got my own bike. After a few rides, I told him he could go ahead and take the passenger seat off his bike because I have no intentions of being on the back again. He created a monster. He didn't want me to like riding that much! Now I'm going to customnize my Savage. I'm making a single seater out of it. Moving the regulator under the passenger seat to under bike on the brackett (I have a 97 and it has one) They are going to make a stainless steel brackett to set it on. I'm going to have body work done to the fender, repaint the bike and put new fender rails on. I can't wait for spring. That's my winter project. I don't want to start now because I don't want to be without the bike for any time! By the way, are you interested in selling your 1100 Honda? My boyfriend has a 1993 Honda 1100 Shadow. He had a 1985 prior to this one.
